Federal Aviation Administration Physical Requirements
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires a medical certificate under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Aviation Administration. In order to obtain a medical certificate, you must be examined by a FAA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).
